my journey

A little about my

Early childhood
I grew up born and raised in a small town called Kelseyville in Northern California. I was raised on a walnut farm that my parents still own and operate. Growing up I was heavily involved with 4-H, sports and my church's youth group.

Age 11
I fell in love with horses at a young age and took lessons for years until I got my first horse at the age of 11. With my horse Maggie I got to experience showing, gymkhanas and eventually rodeo!

2009
I competed for the title of 80th Annual Lake County Rodeo Princess, however I was 1st runner up that year.

2010
In 2010 I became the 81st Annual Lake County Rodeo Princess and served as an ambassador for my town and local rodeo for the year. I learned so much about public relations from this role as well through 4-H.

The next 4 years
For 4 years I raised Sheep and Goats for market to show and sell at the local fair. I learned how to market myself and my product from this amazing experience and the lessons i learned have stuck with me.
